The Indian Community Kitchen (TICK) looks forward to addressing food access and skill development through a comprehensive approach with the first area of focus being to organize hospitality-focused workshops that equip participants with essential skills within the culinary arts, food handling and customer care.
In addition to this, TICK is also committed towards establishing community kitchens that provide healthy meals while simultaneously reducing food wastage through the distribution of surplus foods within underserved communities
Beyond health needs and long-term employment, the initiative also aims to further its reach through fundraising and partnering with local NGOs, hospitality focused businesses and civil bodies to build a network that supports sustainable community development. TICK’s overall mission is to combine educational resources and advocacy efforts in developing a self-sustaining model for individuals to prioritize both; their health and wealth.
